We offer a range of kayaking courses, ranging from introductory to advanced. We would also be happy to tailor a complete kayaking course just for you and your family, friends or colleagues. Our certified instructors will help you master the techniques and fine points of kayaking, while ensuring your safety.
The essence of all of our kayaking courses is to have fun while learning from an expert instructor. Playful adventures and frolicking on the water is part of gaining mastery. On all of our courses you learn the most important safety precautions, and on some courses you learn techniques for saving yourself and others.
Our participants find it extremely satisfying when they receive their NPF Wet Card, after competing the Basic Course in Sea Kayaking. This qualifies them to rent a kayak anywhere on the Helgeland coast and elsewhere in Norway.

You will learn basic safety and kayaking techniques and proper treatment of your equipment. Afterwards, you will be well prepared to go kayaking with friends or family in the sheltered waters around Støtt.

Sea kayaking techniques
Participant receive thorough training in kayaking techniques, how to handle bad weather, and safety and rescue methods. After completing the course, you will be ready for kayaking adventures with friends and family, also in more challenging conditions.

Kristin is also an experienced nurse who has worked in the emergency room and also has experience in psychiatry. The knowledge and insights she has gained are advantages when it comes to seaborne adventures and teaching kayaking.
