Your adventure
The archipelago of Støtt has amazing scenery and is surrounded by some of Norway’s richest fishing grounds. During the winter, thousands of fishermen would come from afar to catch vast amounts of cod. For generations, the trading post was the centre of busy activity. Visitors and professional fishermen still come to Støtt to catch cod, halibut, haddock, saithe, mackerel, herring and other fish.
You can rent a small boat and fishing gear, cast your line and try your luck. We’ll give you good tips and tell you about the best fishing spots. It’s incredibly satisfying to haul your fish over the gunwale, prepare your catch and feast on fresh seafood in the evening.
If you prefer, you can join our captain for a deep-sea fishing adventure on board their traditional fishing smack
Støtt beckons eager anglers young and old to a satisfying stay and a great fishing adventure!
